Hi-Ya!

Shawn and Corben started karate tonight. There is a studio at the church that one of the elder's runs and he finally said that Corben is old enough to participate. So he and Shawn are doing it together. The best part? They have to wear cups and Corben thought it was really funny so he was running around the house today wearing his over his underwear and he said "Addison, look at my cup!" and she said laughing, "Is that a diaper???"

Halloween

Okay, so Halloween was a week ago, but that is the most recent "event" that we've had that I can write about and include pictures. We had a Trunk or Treat event at our church. Church goers came with their cars decorated, parked them in the church parking lot and the trick or treaters went from car to car. It was really fun and the kids had a great time. Our car was snowboard themed, so Shawn and I went as snowboarders. Easy costumes since we already have all the gear!

Corben went as a ninja, Addison was a witch and Carson was a bear.

Our First Blog Post

Blogs are fun. It seems a good way to let others keep up with what's going on in your lives. That said, we are going to start our own blog here at the Beaty house. It is going to be mostly to let whoever is interested know about what is going on with us, but also to have a place to record memories, funny stories about the kids, etc. So we'll see how it goes.
